Originally from South Carolina, Warren Gibson has been performing his sleight-of-hand since 1979. Unlike most magicians, his fascination with magic did not start when he was a child. After graduating from Clemson University, Warren started his career as a Police Officer and later became a Criminal Investigator for So. Carolina National Bank. He taught himself several magic effects to add to his business presentations and was instantly hooked.

Torn between a successful banking career and his passion for magic, Warren decided to follow his dream and took the leap in 1984 to pursue magic full time. A few years later, Warren moved to Los Angeles, where he established himself as one of the top close-up magicians in Southern California.

His magic career flourished as he was asked to perform at numerous corporate events and private functions nationwide, including Arnold Schwarzenegger's monthly cigar dinners. Warren was selected to be the featured close-up magician when Wizardz, the magic dinner theater at Universal Studios opened in 1993. Soon after, Warren performed in a Paramount Pictures film and was the Technical Consultant for all magic scenes on the project.

For almost 15 years, Warren dreamed of opening his own magic theater. When he and his wife, Lisa, came to Maui in 1993 for their honeymoon, they realized that they had found the ideal location to open their business. Warren spent the next four years putting all the pieces together moving the dream closer to a reality. In April 1999, Warren's vision to offer guests a totally unique experience in evening entertainment was realized and Warren & Annabelle's opened their doors.

"It's been an amazing adventure since our first year!", says Warren.  After just a few short years, the show's popularity and reputation grew and all shows were selling out twice nightly.  Warren & Annabelle's quickly became the #1 choice for evening entertainment on Maui.  As Warren best describes his amazement with the popularity of the show he says, “I think one of the biggest surprises about this show is the number of repeat guests we have.  We have guests who come back for their 6th, 10th or 16th time!”

“When we were building this place,” Warren says, “I imagined building a magic theater where top notch close-up and comic magicians from around the country could come and perform.  And now, we have three of the best comic magicians and one of the best sleight-of-hand magicians in the country coming to Maui several times a year to take center stage.  I am so thrilled to have these guys performing at Warren & Annabelle’s.”
